The invention relates to a polyimide arc-proof clothing fabric and arc-proof clothing. The arc protection clothing fabric comprises three layers of structures which are mutually independent, and the three layers of structures comprise an outer protection layer, a heat insulation layer and a comfortable layer from outside to inside. The heat insulation layer is made of polyimide hollow fiber fabric or polyimide hollow fiber non-woven fabric flocculus felt. The fabric can be singly made of one raw material and can also be formed by blending various raw material fibers, and independent single layers can be reasonably selected according to different required protection grades. The polyimide fibers are adopted to prepare the arc-proof clothes, so that the mechanical performance of the arc-proof clothes fabric can be improved, and the ATPV arc value of the arc-proof clothes fabric can be greatly improved.
