The structure includes a substrate having a substrate surface, a coating coupled to the substrate surface in a substrate interface and extending in a thickness direction to an overcoat surface, a sensor including at least one electrode embedded in the coating, an I/O device configured to generate an input signal in the sensor and read an output signal from the sensor, a data logger configured to record an output signal from the I/O device, and a computer unit configured to use the recorded signal from the data logger.
