Provided is a method for improving prediction accuracy of material characteristics by effectively using past data. A system for processing case data containing a plurality of records consisting of materials, experimental conditions and material characteristics for material characteristic prediction. The system is provided with a material characteristic prediction presentation unit, a case mutual characteristic quantity generation unit, and a material characteristic prediction unit. The material characteristic prediction presentation unit accepts designation of first case data which includes records in which material characteristics are unknown and which is a prediction target of the material characteristics based on the first prediction model. The case mutual feature amount generation unit predicts a feature amount from the material composition of the first case data using a second prediction model. The material characteristic prediction unit generates a first prediction model using the material composition o
