The present disclosure provides devices for processing, e.g., stained tissue samples, on a microscope slide. In some embodiments, the tissue staining devices described herein can, for example, automate, in whole or in part, a tissue staining regimen (including a chemical staining regimen and/or an immune-based staining regimen) or a tissue dehydration regimen.
