The present disclosure provides methods and systems for an exhaust aftertreatment system. Systems and methods for performing diagnostics on an exhaust aftertreatment system are described. A gas entry parameter to a portion of an exhaust system of an engine is determined. In response to determining that the gas entry parameter is less than the predetermined threshold, a NH3 level in the exhaust is determined.
