The invention relates to a method and system for generating a two-dimensional engineering drawing through a three-dimensional model, a storage medium and equipment. The method comprises the steps that the three-dimensional model is subjected to lightweight processing; determining an insertion base point of the three-dimensional model after lightweight processing; taking the insertion base point as a positioning point, obtaining each view of the three-dimensional model, and storing the view into a database; sectioning the three-dimensional model, and selecting a spatial range in which a picture needs to be output; and performing two-dimensional replacement on the selected three-dimensional model after sectioning according to the selected view direction, and printing a drawing. According to the method, the two-dimensional engineering drawing can be quickly and efficiently generated from the three-dimensional model, and the efficiency is relatively high. The order of the high-order blanking algorithm is reduced,
