Summary:The invention relates to a fixed frequency DC-DC converter. In a power converter system (200), circuitry (240) generates a first PWM signal and a second PWM signal during a PWM period for controlling the application of power to an inductor. The circuitry (210) generates an error signal having an AC component and a DC component. An error signal is generated in response to an indication of power applied to or generated by the inductor. The circuitry (230) generates a feedback control signal in response to the error signal.
