Summary:A nuclear reaction detection device is provided with: an FPGA (field programmable gate array) (100) which is disposed in an environment in which particle radiation is incident and in which a user circuit (101) is formed, the user circuit (101) being configured so that when SEU (single event upset) is generated in a semiconductor element included in the FPGA, a value different from that when the user circuit (101) is normal is output; and an SEF detection unit (210) that detects that an abnormal operation (SEF) has occurred in the user circuit on the basis of an output value from the user circuit (101) of the FPGA (100). 核反应检测装置具备:FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array:现场可编程门阵列)(100),其配置于粒子放射线入射的环境中,并形成有用户电路(101),该用户电路(101)构成为在FPGA所包含的半导体元件中产生SEU(Single Event Upset:单粒子翻转)时输出与正常时不同的值;以及SEF检测部(210),其基于来自所述FPGA(100)的用户电路(101)的输出值,检测在用户电路中发生了异常动作(SEF)。
