Summary:The invention discloses a strain of Lactobacillus plantarum ING8 and an application of the strain of Lactobacillus plantarum ING8. The strain is gram staining positive bacillus, is subjected to glucose homotype fermentation, is high in acid resistance, can normally grow at the pH value of 3.5, can weakly grow at the pH value of 3.0, is high in growth rate, can reduce the pH value to 4.0 or below after being cultured for 16 hours by an MRS liquid culture medium, is wide in growth temperature range, and can grow and propagate at the temperature of 10-50 DEG C; the strain is preserved in the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC) with the preservation number of CGMCC No.22708.
