The invention discloses a coating composition for polyimide film demolding, a coating spraying liquid, a base material containing a demolding coating and a method for preparing a polyimide film. The raw materials of the coating composition comprise silicate ester, an organic solvent, water and a basic catalyst, the silicate ester accounts for 1-20 wt% of the total weight of the coating composition, the solvent accounts for 70-99 wt% of the total weight of the coating composition, the water accounts for 0.001-5 wt% of the total weight of the coating composition, and the basic catalyst accounts for 0.01-5 wt% of the total weight of the coating composition.
