Embodiments relate to an X-ray CT apparatus and a data forwarding method. The present invention addresses the problem of scanning a subject while suppressing an increase in the storage capacity of a buffer. An X-ray CT device according to an embodiment is provided with a buffer and a determination unit. The buffer temporarily holds data detected by the X-ray detector.
