The composite material comprises the following layers which are arranged in sequence: polypropylene I, maleic anhydride modified banana fiber and polypropylene II. The banana fiber selected by the invention is a natural fiber, the cost is low, the raw material source is abundant, biodegradable and free of harmful substances, and the composite material meets the requirements of green, environment-friendly and sustainable development, has excellent mechanical properties and physical properties, and improves the flexibility of a polypropylene matrix after being added. Meanwhile, the preparation method is simple, and industrial large-scale production is facilitated. 本发明公开了一种聚丙烯复合材料及其制备方法与应用，该电缆包括依次设置的以下各层：聚丙烯Ⅰ、马来酸酐改性香蕉纤维和聚丙烯Ⅱ。本发明选用的香蕉纤维为天然纤维，成本低且原材料来源丰富，可生物降解且不含有害物质，符合绿色环保可持续发展的要求，同时具备优良的机械性能和物理性能，添加后提高了聚丙烯基体的柔韧性。同时本发明的制备方法简单，利于工业大规模生产。
