An adjusting device (1) for an external vision unit for a vehicle comprises: a base shaft (2), a housing (3) surrounding the base shaft which swivels around a longitudinal axis (A) of the base shaft in an adjustment range, the housing being fitted with a housing ring (4), and a drive ring (5) surrounding the base shaft.
