Summary: | The invention belongs to the technical field of material preparation, and particularly relates to a flame-retardant arc-proof composite fabric and a preparation method and application thereof. The composite fabric is prepared by the following method: firstly, synthesizing polybenzimidazole-containing polyamide fibers in a reaction kettle; and then blending the polybenzimidazole-containing polyamide fiber, meta-position aramid fiber and flame-retardant viscose to obtain the composite fabric. The prepared composite fabric is good in flame retardant property, good in color fastness, excellent in washing resistance and good in water resistance and air permeability, and the tensile strength of the fibers is improved. The fiber prepared by the method is not molten during combustion, small in shrinkage rate and high in dilutability, and the prepared fabric is good in comfort.
