Summary: | The invention discloses a preparation method of light mineral oil for embryo culture. Light mineral oil (with density of 0.84-0.86) as a raw material, ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid as a main purifying agent and sterilized water for injection as a solvent are purified by an ethanol solution, a sodium chloride solution and an ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid solution to obtain light mineral oil for embryo culture. The preparation method is simple, convenient and rapid, and the content of heavy metal, endotoxin and nucleic acid in the mineral oil can be effectively reduced. When the light mineral oil obtained through the method is used for embryo culture, a high blastocyst forming rate can be obtained.
