The data transmission system is applied to an application layer of a vehicle-mounted Ethernet, and comprises a sending end and a receiving end; the sending end is arranged in a protocol data unit of the application layer and comprises a first communication module used for generating a request and sending the request to the receiving end, and receiving a response sent by the receiving end; and a message processing module which is used for generating a message data packet and sending the message data packet to the receiving end when the response is received.
