This corrosion detection sensor (101) comprises a thin metal film (8) that becomes corroded by the caustic gas, a resistor (9) connected in series to the thin metal film (8), a resistance measurement instrument (20) measuring the combined resistance of the thin metal film (8) and the resistor (9), and a notification device (40) that provides notification of detection results that the combined resistance measured by the resistance measurement device (20) has exceeded a predetermined reference resistance. The reference resistance is defined according to the degree of risk that the electrical equipment (900) reaches a corrosion-damaged state due to the caustic gas.
