The invention provides a method and a device for simulating carbon dioxide replacement of methane in a coal seam, the device comprises a first pipeline, a gas source section and a measuring section, wherein the gas source section comprises a first gas source for providing inert gas, a second gas source for providing methane and a third gas source for providing carbon dioxide, the first gas source, the second gas source and the third gas source are all connected with the first pipeline; the measuring section comprises a reference cavity, a vacuum pump, a sample cavity, a gas chromatograph, a first pressure gauge for detecting the pressure of the reference cavity and a second pressure gauge for detecting the pressure of the sample cavity, and the reference cavity, the vacuum pump, the sample cavity and the gas chromatograph are all connected with the first pipeline. The device can simulate the process of replacing methane in a coal seam with carbon dioxide under different temperature and pressure conditions, th
