Summary: | The invention provides a method for monitoring the water quantity and the water quality of a ditch river entrance of a dry farmland in a tidal river network area. According to the method, a Doppler flowmeter is applied to measurement of the water body at the ditch river entrance of the dry farmland, the flowing direction of the water body can be judged, the inflow and outflow total amount of the water body within a period of time can be obtained through high-frequency real-time monitoring, and meanwhile, according to runoff production data of a farmland drainage outlet and ditch water level data during runoff production, sampling triggering and stopping conditions of a water quality automatic sampler are set to realize synchronous sampling of a ditch river inlet and a farmland water outlet.
