| Summary: | The invention relates to an event monitoring method and a device thereof, which are used for realizing that a service capability opening function or a network opening function deletes monitoring event configuration of a group after receiving event reports of all members in the group, thereby avoiding resource waste and subsequent strategy execution errors. The method comprises the steps that an opening function entity receives a first message, the first message being used for configuring a monitoring event for a user group, the opening function entity obtains member information of the user group, the opening function entity determines that monitoring event reports of all members of the user group are received according to the member information, and the configuration for the monitoring event of the user group is deleted.
