The invention discloses a preparation method of a beryllium window material. The preparation method comprises the steps that first, beryllium plates are subjected to small-machining-rate cold rolling; second, the cold-rolled beryllium plates are stacked between two stainless steel plates with smooth and flat surfaces, and then the beryllium plates and the stainless steel plates are put into a high-vacuum heat treatment furnace together for high-temperature pressing and flattening; third, the beryllium plates obtained in the second step are slightly pickled by adopting a weak acid pickling solution so as to remove thin oxide films and surface defects on the surfaces of the beryllium plates; and fourth, the beryllium plates obtained in the third step are placed in an appliance containing alcohol to be subjected to surface dehydration treatment.
