Summary: | The invention relates to a method for jointly treating heavy oil by supercritical water and a supersonic separator. The method comprises the following steps of: respectively heating and pressurizing heavy oil and deionized water, mixing the oil with the water, heating and conveying the mixture to a supercritical water reactor, and carrying out pyrolytic reaction on the heavy oil in the supercritical water reactor by utilizing a supercritical hydrothermal heavy oil modification technology to convert the heavy oil into light oil. After the heavy oil is modified, a supersonic separator is used for cooling and depressurizing to change the phase state and the dissolution characteristic of water, light and heavy components are separated, the heavy component asphaltene obtained through separation forms asphalt solid particles through a granulation tower, and the light component is subjected to cooling and depressurizing to realize separation of cracked gas, light oil and wastewater.
