A scroll compressor manufacturing method employs a machine tool (1) provided with: a table (30); a workpiece securing portion (40) which is provided on the table (30) to cause the table (30) to hold a workpiece; and a tool gripping portion (23) holding a cutting tool which cuts the workpiece.
