Summary:The invention discloses a heterogeneous aluminum-magnesium alloy bar and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps that (1) a plurality of magnesium alloy bars are uniformly inserted into a mold groove with a cylindrical cavity, (2) industrial pure aluminum is heated to 680-720 DEG C, then heat preservation is conducted for 15-30 min, the aluminum melt is poured into the cavity, the unoccupied part of the cavity is filled with the aluminum melt, air cooling is conducted until the room temperature, and a composite bar is obtained; (3) the as-cast composite bar is subjected to rotary swaging at the room temperature, rotary swaging is conducted for 10-30 passes, and the total strain of rotary swaging is smaller than 2; and (4) annealing is conducted.
