The invention provides a light-emitting device capable of suppressing deterioration of a light-emitting element. A light-emitting device (10) is provided with: a translucent ceramic substrate (20); a light-emitting element (30) mounted on the ceramic substrate (20); a wiring (60) provided inside the ceramic substrate (20) and electrically connected to the light-emitting element (30); a heat dissipation member (40) provided so as to face the ceramic substrate (20); and a sealing member (50) that hermetically seals between the ceramic substrate (20) and the heat dissipation member (40). The light-emitting element (30) is provided in a space surrounded by the ceramic substrate (20), the heat dissipation member (40), and the sealing member (50).
