Summary: | The invention provides a solid vanadium battery and a preparation method thereof. The solid vanadium battery comprises an electrolyte, and the electrolyte is pasty and contains a vanadium active substance; additives are added into the electrolyte, the additives are a positive electrode additive and a negative electrode additive, and the positive electrode additive is one or more of anisotropic graphite, stannous mono-sulphate, sodium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, HEDP, glycerol, potassium phosphate, phosphoric acid and the like; and the negative electrode additive is one or more of Na2SO4, HgSO4, BaSO4, phosphoric acid, Bi2O3 and a lanthanum additive. The energy density of the high-energy solid-state vanadium battery designed by the invention is improved by 2-3 times compared with that of a conventional vanadium battery, and the high-energy solid-state vanadium battery has higher charge-discharge current density and a wider application range.
