[Problem] To provide a novel epoxy resin that relates to an epoxy resin containing 3,3'-diglycidylbiphenyl-4,4'-diglycidylether (formula (1)), and that can be handled as a solid in an ordinary state, and that has excellent modulus of elasticity and shear bond strength.
