Summary:The invention provides a treatment method for pickling organic waste liquid by taking EDTA as a cleaning medium, which comprises the steps that firstly, pretreatment is carried out by an acid-alkali method to precipitate metal ions and separate out EDTA, so that the COD content can be quickly reduced; and then the wastewater is deeply treated by adopting a three-dimensional electrode method, so that organic matters and metal ions in the waste liquid can be quickly and efficiently removed. According to the treatment method, ferrous ions do not need to be added, the subsequent step of removing iron ions is omitted, the treated wastewater can meet the pH requirement, the pH does not need to be additionally adjusted, and the use amount of acid and alkali is reduced. After treatment, the COD of the final effluent can be reduced to 139mg/L, the TOC can be reduced to 23mg/L, and the total iron content can be reduced to 1.9 mg/L, so that the requirements on the secondary discharge standard of second-class pollutants
