Provided is a flue gas purification method that includes: causing flue gas to pass through a wet flue gas desulphurization device, removing sulfur oxides from the flue gas, obtaining a gas including carbon dioxide, causing the obtained gas including carbon dioxide to be in contact with a water slurry including combustion ash, and removing carbon dioxide from the gas.
