The total number of the logs is set as the alarm threshold value in the log configuration information, so that the alarm information can be sent or the log state can be fed back in time when the number of the logs is close to and reaches the alarm threshold value. When the number of the logs reaches or exceeds an alarm threshold value, the logs are cleared according to a log deletion scheme made by log management personnel in advance; or parameters in the log configuration information are changed to carry out optimization management on the logs. Therefore, the problems that in the prior art, the management mode of the log system is single, alarm prompt is lacked, and log managers cannot conduct adjustment according to the actual situation are solved. 本发明提供了一种日志管理方法。通过在日志配置信息中设定日志条数的总量作为告警阈值，使其能在日志数接近并达到告警阈值的过程中及时的发送告警信息或反馈日志状态。当日志数量达到或超过告警阈值时则按照日志管理人员预先制定的日志删除方案对日志进行清理，或者更改日志配置信息中的参数对日志进行优化管理，从而解决了现有技术中对于日志系统的管理方式较为单一，缺少告警提示，使得日志管理人员无法根据实际情况进行调整的问题。
