Summary: | The invention discloses a method for removing antibiotic resistant bacteria and/or antibiotic resistant genes in water, which comprises the following steps: taking an electrode loaded with cobaltosic oxide nanowires on the surface as a cathode, taking the cobaltosic oxide nanowires loaded on the surface as an anode, and applying 10-20V direct-current voltage between the cathode and the anode; and enabling sewage containing antibiotic resistant bacteria and/or antibiotic resistant genes to vertically flow through the interface of the cathode and the anode, and removing the antibiotic resistant bacteria and/or antibiotic resistant genes in water by utilizing the strong electric field effect and electrochemical active sites of the interface of the cathode and the anode. The invention also discloses a device for realizing the method. The method can effectively remove antibiotic resistance bacteria and antibiotic resistance genes in water.
