The invention relates to a conductor sag correction method and system. The method comprises the following steps: respectively acquiring related sag parameters of conductors between adjacent towers on a whole conductor; according to the sag related parameters, calculating theoretical values of the conductor sag between the adjacent towers respectively; and according to the theoretical value of the conductor sag between the adjacent towers, the obtained measured value of the distance from the vertical direction sensor to the ground between the adjacent towers and the design value of the distance from the lowest point of the conductor to the ground, correcting the value of the conductor sag between the adjacent towers, wherein the sensor is arranged at the lowest point of the conductor sag between adjacent towers.
