Provided is a heat exchanger that can conserve space and can perform heat exchange with high efficiency even in a limited installation space. The present invention comprises a pair of flow path forming units 10 that are provided with a gap therebetween in a width direction of an air flow path, and each have provided therein, in an air circulation direction and in a vertical direction, a plurality of refrigerant circulation chambers 10a through which a refrigerant circulates. Heat exchange tubes 20 that extend in the width direction communicate facing refrigerant circulation chambers 10a of the pair of flow path forming units 10.
