Summary: | The invention provides a high-yield D-D neutron tube with a drive-in target and a manufacturing method thereof, and aims to solve the technical problems that in applications of logging, online analysis and the like, an existing isotope neutron source is difficult in equipment maintenance and operation protection, a 14MeV controllable neutron source is difficult in protection and huge in protection device, and a D-D controllable neutron source is low in neutron yield. The neutron tube comprises a tube shell assembly, a core column assembly, an air pressure adjusting assembly, a penning ion source assembly, an accelerating electrode and a drive-in target assembly. The air pressure adjusting assembly is electrified and heated to release a certain amount of deuterium gas, the penning ion source assembly ionizes the deuterium gas to generate deuterium ions, the deuterium ions are accelerated by the accelerating electrode and then bombard the surface of a drive-in target, and fast neutrons are emitted.
