Summary: | The present invention provides a technique for improving the conversion efficiency of a solar cell. This solar cell includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer that is located between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a semiconductor layer that is located between the first electrode and the photoelectric conversion layer. At least one electrode selected from the group consisting of the first electrode and the second electrode is translucent, and the semiconductor layer comprises a compound containing Na, Zn, and O.
