Summary: | The invention discloses a building damping wall which is characterized in that the building damping wall comprises a vertical mounting cavity formed in the wall, a mass block is arranged in the middle of the lower end of the mounting cavity, and the upper end of the mass block is connected with a lifting rope and arranged in the mounting cavity in a lifting manner through the lifting rope; spaces for the mass block to swing are reserved at the two ends, in the length direction of the wall, of the mass block in the mounting cavity; and a damping component which is used for providing opposite acting force for the swing direction of the mass block is further included. The building damping wall has the advantages of being easy to implement, free of occupying extra space of a building, good in damping and anti-swing effect of the building, convenient and efficient to construct and the like.
