Summary:The invention relates to a method for compensating for defective printing nozzles in an inkjet printer by means of a computer, which controls an increased droplet volume of directly adjacent printing nozzles and the adjacent printing nozzles of the inkjet printer in order to compensate for the defective printing nozzles, as long as the printing nozzles in which skew printing occurs are involved, the defective printing nozzles are not deactivated by the computer, but are manipulated such that the defective printing nozzles continue printing in a reinforced manner. Accordingly, the set reinforced ink droplet between two ink droplets of directly adjacent printing nozzles attracts the ink droplets of the directly adjacent printing nozzles through a coalescence effect.
