Summary: | Provided is an aqueous ink composition for a ballpoint pen, the composition having excellent ink ejectability even if a nip is exposed for a long period of time. The aqueous ink composition for a ballpoint pen according to the present invention is characterized by containing at least: 1-35 mass% of a titanium oxide having an average particle size of 0.1-1 [Mu]m (exclusive of 0.1); and 1-35 mass% of non-tacky urethane particles having an average particle size of 0.1-6 [Mu]m.
