The invention relates to an electronic transmission controller comprising a housing, a circuit board arrangement, and an electric or electronic component mounted on the circuit board arrangement. The circuit board arrangement extends partly within the housing in a region which is sealed from oil and partly outside the housing in a region which is not sealed from oil, and the circuit board arrangement has multiple electrically conductive path layers which are electrically insulated from one another by dielectric layers.
