The invention discloses a silt slurry screening mechanism based on a drum screen. The silt slurry screening mechanism based on the drum screen comprises the drum screen, wherein the drum screen comprises a drum body and a stirring core, the stirring core is arranged in the drum body, the stirring core and the drum body are coaxially arranged, the drum body comprises a feeding end and a discharging end, the side face of the drum body comprises a moving section and a screen section, and the moving section and the screen section are sequentially arranged in the moving direction of silt slurry. By arranging the drum screen, the drum screen drives the silt slurry to move towards the discharging end while stirring the silt slurry on the basis of the rotating stirring core, the silt slurry moves on the moving section when fully stirred on the basis of sealed arrangement of the moving section, and the situation that residue soil which just enters the drum screen is not mixed with water and fully stirred is avoided, s
