The V-substituted Fe reinforced hypoeutectic aluminum-silicon alloy disclosed by the invention comprises the following components of, in percentage by weight, 7%-9% of Si, 0.35%-0.75% of Fe, 0.08%-0.15% of Cu, 0.4%-0.8% of Mg, 0.05%-0.3% of V, 0.03%-0.15% of Sr and the balance Al and inevitable impurity elements. The mechanical property of the hypoeutectic aluminum-silicon alloy is greatly improved, the yield strength of the alloy can be improved by 11.4%-25.0%, the tensile strength of the alloy can be improved by 21.8%-27.6%, and the elongation of the alloy can be improved by 116.0%-118.9%.
