The invention discloses an automatic temperature measurement protection device for a high-voltage side cable joint of a box-type substation.The device comprises a temperature measurement protection module, an information transmission module and a temperature display module, and is characterized in that the temperature measurement protection module comprises an insulation box, a temperature sensor, an alarm module and a cooling box, wherein the cooling box is communicated with a liquid storage box through a pipeline; a push plate is arranged in the liquid storage tank in a sliding mode, and the push plate is fixedly connected with a reciprocating rod; a baffle assembly comprises a control circuit and a magnetic insertion plate movably inserted into the pipeline; and the control circuit comprises an impact sensing switch, a power source and a first electromagnet which are connected through a wire. In the use process, through the cooling box and the cable joint which are not in contact with each other, the tempe
