The device comprises an underwater inspection platform and an image acquisition device; the image acquisition device is arranged on the underwater inspection platform, and the underwater inspection platform can realize position adjustment of the image acquisition device; the image acquisition device comprises a measurement camera, a target camera and an illumination assembly; the measurement camera lens and the target camera lens are arranged in opposite directions; while the measurement camera acquires image data of the fuel assembly to be measured, the target camera acquires target image data at a corresponding position; the illumination assembly provides illumination during image data acquisition.
