The invention discloses a combined braking control system and method for a heavy-load transport vehicle. The system comprises a brake gear shifting rod, a rocker switch, a combined brake control mechanism and a vehicle control unit, and the brake gear shifting rod and the rocker switch achieve combined control through the vehicle control unit and the combined brake control mechanism.
