A sound state display method has the steps of: a step for acquiring sound data in which sound generated by an inspection object is collected; a step for executing analysis processing relating to a plurality of different indicators stipulating the presence/absence of an abnormality in the inspection object on the basis of the sound data; a step for generating a sound state image in which a sound state of the sound generated by the inspection object is indicated by the plurality of difference indicators, on the basis of the result of the analysis processing; and a step for displaying the generated sound state image in a display device. 声音状态显示方法具有以下步骤：获取声音数据，该声音数据是接收检查对象物发出的声音而得到的数据；基于声音数据，来执行与用于规定检查对象物有无异常的多个不同的指标有关的解析处理；基于解析处理的结果，来生成通过多个不同的指标表示检查对象物发出的声音的声音状态的声音状态画面；以及将所生成的声音状态画面显示于显示设备。
