The method comprises the steps: obtaining video frame data which comprises mouth cigarette information and human body key point information; if it is detected that the mouth cigarette information is empty information, whether preset human body posture information exists in the human body key point information or not is judged; if the preset human body posture information exists in the human body key point information, detecting a preset human body region corresponding to the preset human body posture information, and judging whether a smoking behavior exists in the video frame data based on the preset human body region; and if the smoking behavior exists, triggering an alarm, and storing an image in which the smoking behavior exists. The embodiment of the invention is beneficial to perfecting the detection system and improving the accuracy o
