Summary: | The invention discloses a detection method for bovine ITG beta 5 gene insertion/deletion mutation and application thereof. Bovine whole genome DNA is used as a template, a part of fragments of a bovine ITG beta 5 gene are amplified through a PCR technology, and agarose gel electrophoresis is applied to identify the genotype of 13-bp InDel polymorphic sites of the individual ITG beta 5 gene. According to a character correlation analysis result, the genotype of the 13-bpInDel polymorphic site of the ITG beta 5 gene is remarkably related to the breeding character of the cow. Therefore, the 13-bp InDel polymorphic site of the ITG beta 5 gene can be used for early marker-assisted selection of breeding traits of cows so as to accelerate establishment of cattle populations with excellent genetic resources.
本发明公开了一种牛ITGβ5基因插入/缺失突变的检测方法及其应用。以牛全基因组DNA为模板,通过PCR技术扩增牛ITGβ5基因部分片段,应用琼脂糖凝胶电泳鉴定个体ITGβ5基因13-bp InDel多态性位点的基因型。根据性状关联分析结果,ITGβ5基因13-bpInDel多态性位点的基因型与母牛的繁殖性状显著相关。因此,ITGβ5基因13-bp InDel多态性位点可用于母牛繁殖性状的早期标记辅助选择,以加快建立遗传资源 |
