Summary: | The invention discloses a detection method for bovine SEPT7 gene insertion/deletion mutation and application of the detection method. Bovine whole genome DNA is used as a template, a part of fragments of the bovine SEPT7 gene are amplified through PCR, and agarose gel electrophoresis is applied to identify the genotype of the 9-bp insertion mutation of the individual SEPT7 gene. According to the character association analysis result, the genotype of the SEPT7 gene 9-bp insertion mutation site is significantly related to the breeding character of the cow. Therefore, the SEPT7 gene 9-bp insertion mutation site can be used for early marker-assisted selection of cow reproductive traits so as to accelerate establishment of cow populations with excellent genetic resources.
本发明公开了一种牛SEPT7基因插入/缺失突变的检测方法及其应用。以牛全基因组DNA为模板,通过PCR扩增牛SEPT7基因部分片段,应用琼脂糖凝胶电泳鉴定个体SEPT7基因9-bp插入突变的基因型。根据性状关联分析结果,SEPT7基因9-bp插入突变位点的基因型与母牛的繁殖性状显著相关。因此,SEPT7基因9-bp插入突变位点可用于母牛繁殖性状的早期标记辅助选择,以加快建立遗传资源优良的牛群体。 |
