A database system for sponge city construction projects comprises an online monitoring database, an operation management database, a geographic information database, and comprises a document and multimedia database. Each database is physically separated but logically related, and each database is provided with a data interface used for being in butt joint with a superior management platform of a current sponge city project so as to carry out visual display.
