Summary:The invention discloses a folding type steel support packaging device and a packing method thereof. The device comprises two supporting beams arranged in the same direction, wherein first containing grooves are formed in the same sides of the supporting beams correspondingly; two pressing and abutting beams correspondingly arranged above the two supporting beams and provided with second containing grooves aligned with the first containing grooves correspondingly; tie rods tied between the two ends of the supporting beams and the two ends of the pressing and abutting beams; and a plurality of template beams, wherein the template beams and the supporting beams are arranged in the same direction, the template beams are movably arranged between each pair of the supporting beams and the pressing and abutting beams in an overlapped mode, and third containing grooves corresponding to the first containing grooves in position are formed in the two opposite sides of the two ends of each supporting beam correspondingly.
